2020-21 Sponsorship Opportunities

September 15, 2020 by Canyon Concert Ballet

Your sponsorship support will help secure the financial viability of Canyon Concert Ballet and will ensure that we continue to present future generations in Northern Colorado with exceptional dance and ballet opportunities.  Sponsorship Opportunities include:

Program Advertising

Each year, Canyon Concert Ballet offers businesses in Fort Collins the opportunity to reach over 10,000 young families, seniors, and patrons of the arts with a highly targeted message.  Ads are in full color and included in all four programs in our season. We are proud to be safely offering our full season this year, and ads this year will also be included in our online, interactive programs!

 Spring Gala Sponsorship

Our 1920s Adult Prom will be held on a Saturday in early April 2021 at the Colorado State University Stadium. This unique event is sure to be the most talked about event of spring! Over 250 guests will get the chance to relive Prom with dinner, dancing, drinks, auctions, and entertainment.

Dress Rehearsal Sponsorship

Individuals or companies wishing to have an extra special night with guests and/or clients can sponsor the final dress rehearsal of either The Nutcracker or our Spring Ballet Production of a storybook ballet.  Dress Rehearsal sponsors will have full access to the lobby and theater the night of the rehearsal, and be able to invite up to 1,000 guests to attend the performance.  If an audience of that size is not allowed at the time of the show, a virtual party will also be offered with a live stream link to send to your guests! A great way to support the arts and have your own private party!

To learn more and secure your sponsorship, check out our sponsorship packet here. Thank you!

Tax Time Creates a New Season of Giving to Support Our Work

January 14, 2020 by Canyon Concert Ballet

A new program allows you to use your state income tax return to make a big difference in your community.

If you’re due a state income tax refund, this state program gives you the opportunity to use some or all of it to directly support a local nonprofit that matters to you like Canyon Concert Ballet.

The new program, promoted through the ReFUND CO awareness initiative, lets you choose where your donation goes. All you have to do is:

  • Decide how much of your state income tax refund to donate (all or a portion of it).
  • Enter “Canyon Concert Ballet” and our registration number “20093007180 “ in the Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit Fund line on your state tax return or tax software – or give just give this info to your tax preparer when you share your tax documents.

You can learn more details about the program at RefundWhatMatters.org.

Last year, Colorado returned more than $1 billion in refunds to 1.9 million state taxpayers. Imagine how much this could support local community causes like us!

Because our important work is never done, we’re always in need of new funds to revitalize our organization and recharge our work.  ReFUND CO shows you how you can support our mission at a critical time of the year!

Support CCB Dancers in Puerto Rico!

November 20, 2019 by Canyon Concert Ballet

Canyon Concert Ballet has been invited to send three of our dancers/faculty to Puerto Rico to participate in the Danza en el Tablao event. This event for our dancers will run from January 29 – February 3, 2020 and we are looking to raise $1200 to support their trip!

You can make a donation for this amazing opportunity here – thank you!

It is with great pleasure that two CCB dancers and our school director will be a part of such a special event: Jenna Smith, Emma Kimbal, and Analia Weber. During their stay, our school director, Analia Weber, will also be offering a free master class to dance students on the island. This is a great opportunity to foster future artistic collaborations and dance education opportunities for our dancers, and a true honor for us to be invited to participate! Your donation will support the three dancers by helping with travel costs (flights, shuttles, food). If more money is raised than is spent for this opportunity, additional funds will be saved for future dance education opportunities for our dancers and faculty.

Danza en el Tablao/ Floorboard Dances

This event was started in 2008 by the renowned dancer and choreographer Paulette Beauchamp in the historic building of Cuartel de Ballaja. Located in front of El Castillo del San Felipe el Morro, the Cuartel de Ballaja was built from 1854 to 1864 in order to house the Spanish and Puerto Rican regiments in Old San Juan. Nowadays, the Cuartel de Ballaja houses the following: a dance school, a music school, the Museo de las Americas, the Puerto Rico Academy of Spanish Language, and the State Office of Historic Conservation. Inspired by the beauty and history of the building, Paulette Beauchamp created the Floorboard Dances. The performances happen two Fridays a month and the event is the host of many important dance figures on the island.

This year, Paulette has wanted to reach out to those that have left the island as a way to continue to grow its roots to the mainland. Paulette Beauchamp is a graduate of State University of New York at Purchase. She has danced classical repertory with Ballet Concierto of Puerto Rico and modern repertoire with Sarah Stackhouse and Kevin Wynn from the José Limón Dance Company. In her personal choreographic search, Paulette finds rhythmic richness, gesture and color in influences as varied as her own Afro-Caribbean culture, classical ballet, contemporary dance, the contrasting drama of ancient Japanese tradition, and other styles of theater that include illusions and masks.
