On April 15th, Canyon Concert Ballet’s Company and students performed Sleeping Beauty at the Lincoln Center. Sleeping Beauty is a ballet in a prologue and three acts, first performed in 1890. The music was composed by Peter Tchaikovsky and completed in 1889. The Sleeping Beauty ballet is a much celebrated ballet and the premiere received more favorable accolades than Swan Lake from the press.
