Dancing at CCB this Fall

August 11, 2020 by Canyon Concert Ballet

Dear Dancers and Families!

We hope you are having a wonderful summer. We have loved seeing dancers back at the studio and we are excited to be moving forward with Fall Registration.  As you are aware CCB will continue to follow the health guidelines from the Larimer County Health Department. We have been working closely with a health department member that continues to guide us to make safe decisions to maintain the dancers, their families, and our staff healthy. We ask that you continue to follow CCB protocols and guidelines (linked here) as well as those of the health department so that Fort Collins can continue to recover from this pandemic.

Because of the need to limit class capacity we have instructions of registration per level. Please find the ballet level your dancer will be in for the fall and follow the instructions. Fall registration began on July 31st, and classes start August 24th. Attached here is the 2020-2021 Class Schedule.

In addition, you must fill out our Covid-19 waiver to come to classes. You can click here to fill out waiver.

To learn more about what masks are allowed and which are not allowed, please click here.

Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Tap, and Adult classes

Will be registered on a first-come-first-served basis. Once the class is full you may put your name on the wait-list. We will be keeping a close eye on attendance. If your dancer misses two classes in a row and we do not receive a notification as to why from the family, your spot will be given to the next person on the wait-list. If your dancer has to miss a class we ask that you please let us know in advance so we can open that spot for a dancer for that day, you will not lose your spot but at least someone else can take advantage of it for one week.  We look forward to having a wonderful dance year and with your help, I know we will!

Ballet Levels 1 & 2, Pre-Ballet & Tiny Dancer Programs

We will continue to have small class sizes to accommodate safe social distance protocols and we are committed to having all dancers have studio time. Because of this,  Ballet 1, Ballet 2, all Pre-Ballet levels, Creative Movement and Move with me will initially be allowed to register for only one weekly class. If you wish to take a second weekly class we will add you to the waitlist to ensure that every dancer gets at least one class. After three weeks of Fall Registration being open, we will begin to allow those on waitlists to take an additional class if desired.

How to register:

  1. Go to https://dancestudio-pro.com/online/ccballet to register. If you are new to CCB you will need to first create an account.
  2. Once you are inside the system find your single desired class and register your dancer for it.
  3. If you wish to take an additional class you will email info<at>ccballet.org with the following:
  • Student first and last name
  • Name of Class
  • Day and Time desired
  • Contact information

We will then place you on the waitlist for your second class and contact you if and when you are moved into the class. Other styles: Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Tap, and Adult classes will be registered on a first-come-first-served basis. Once the class is full you may put your name on the waitlist. We will be keeping a close eye on attendance. If your dancer misses two classes in a row and we do not receive a notification as to why from the family, your spot will be given to the next person on the waitlist.
