Outreach Opportunities: Collaboration
CCB does not believe that financial limitations should be an obstacle to dance, so we provide several outreach opportunities: Scholarship Program, Free Voucher Program, and Free Community Events. We also strongly believe in collaboration in the local arts community, fusing dance with other art forms in Fort Collins to bring dance to more people and make dance more accessible. Collaborations
With every company show, Canyon Concert Ballet partners with at least one other local artist or arts group. In the 2017-18 season, we partnered with NoCo Artists for our Ballet, Bach, & Beer production; the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra and Centennial Children’s Chorus for our The Nutcracker production; and local pianist Silvana Santinelli for our spring production of Les Sylphides & Etudes.
This season, we have partnered with local dancers Matthew and Madeline Harvey, Larimer Chorale, and local artist Matthew Mahern for our 2nd Annual Ballet & Beer production, will once again partner with the Fort Collins Symphony and Centennial Children’s Chorus for The Nutcracker, and are partnering with local dancers Jenna Smith and Isaac Mueller for our spring production of The Little Mermaid.
CCB firmly believes that collaboration is key to exciting the community and bringing dance to new audiences. It is a core part of our mission and a key piece in providing dance performances to Northern Colorado.
