Auditions for Canyon Concert Ballet Company, Chamber, and CCB2 will be held Saturday, August 18 at 10am at CCB’s Old Town Studios, 1031 Conifer Street in Fort Collins. We invite you to join us!
Company
CCB’s Company represents the organization’s most elite dancers. These dancers are generally dancers who are at least 18 years old and have completed approximately 10 years of training. They show personal and artistic maturity, are able to perform in a wide-range of styles, and are able to take on demi-soloist, soloist and principal roles, in addition to corps de ballet roles. They should see themselves as ambassadors of the organization and mentors to its students.
As a semi-professional company, CCB sees itself as an organization that allows eligible dancers the opportunity to perform in top-notch, full-length classical ballets and smaller contemporary programs. CCB provides these opportunities to both dancers who love to dance but have chosen different career pathways or as a stepping stone to full-time employment in a professional company. As such, and as an unpaid company, CCB endeavors to try and work with these dancers to provide the most fruitful and equitable relationship possible.
