February is the month for falling in love with dance! There are so many neat opportunities to see fellow CCB dancers doing what they do best, as well as other dancers that are a part of our extended community. Please see the list below and follow the links for more details!
February 12th: Peter and the Wolf w/ the Fort Collins Symphony
It’s time for the Musical Zoo! This event is perfect for children 3-12 years and their familie. The event includes orchestral music for inspiration, education and entertainment, short performances by middle school and high school musical groups, a petting zoo where children can one-on-one observe, listen, hold and play various ororchestral instruments, and a performance of Peter and the Wolf by the FC Symphony Orchestra, Canyon Concert Ballet, and theatrical narration.

February 10-12: Ensemble at Legacy!
Canyon Concert Ballets’ Youth Ensemble will be competing at Legacy’s regional competition in Denver. Come watch them live or online!
February 17th and 18th: Judy Bejarano’s Impact Dance Company’s “Words, Wo/Men and Song”
Join IMPACT and several area musicians for a performance and conversation exploring the intimate relationship between dance and music. Taking place at the new Music District. Reservations just $15-$20. With multiple choreographers including a new work by Alicia Laumann and CCB dancer, Jacob Machmer.

February 25th: YAGP In-Studio showing and Peter and the Wolf. FREE at 5:00PM
Come see CCB’s YAGP team present their classical variations and contemporary solos + another chance to see Peter and the Wolf. Plus enter a raffle drawing to win CCB t-shirts and a For the Love of Dance ticket.
