Partnering with the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra for the first time for the spring ballet, CCB will premier two new works to two orchestral gems. The program begins with beloved local choreographer, Judy Bejarano’s (founder of IMPACT Dance) contemporary interpretation of Aaron Copeland’s iconic score “Appalachian Spring.” “Precious Stones,” a short excerpt of pristine classical ballet from Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty (1890) will showcase the depth of talent of CCB’s dancers.
