Outreach Opportunities: Free Community Events
CCB does not believe that financial limitations should be an obstacle to dance, so we provide several outreach opportunities: Scholarship Program, Free Voucher Program, and Free Community Events. We also strongly believe in collaboration in the local arts community, fusing dance with other art forms in Fort Collins to bring dance to more people and make dance more accessible. Free Community Events
Canyon Concert Ballet recognizes that not everyone can afford tickets to a ballet production, and that some do not know there is a ballet company in Fort Collins. To bring dance to those who do not know, or cannot attend, a full production, CCB performs several times a year for free for the general public. Examples include at First Friday Art Walk (at The Artery), at Poudre School District schools, First Night Fort Collins (at Opera Galleria) at local senior centers, and at the Poudre Library.
