Canyon Concert Ballet, Ltd was incorporated on September 14, 1978 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
CCB’s original mission statement “to promote a professional ballet program through education and performance” has been revised slightly over the years, but the original intention has remained intact, as has the original vision to serve the Fort Collins community and surrounding areas, to serve dancers and non-dancers alike, to work with new dancers and experienced dancers, to work with professional educators to offer a planned curriculum, and to serve the community through performances on the Main Stage at the Lincoln Center, in schools, at service organizations and civic celebrations and in collaboration with others.
Our Mission Statement Today
Our mission is to create and share the passion of dance through artistically enriching performances and dance education.
Vision & Goals
Our vision is to provide a sustainable community forum for dance performance and education.
Our goals are to provide the highest quality training to a diverse group of dancers, to provide a broad range of performance opportunities for dancers and audiences, to enrich our community’s cultural climate with a diverse repertoire of artistry, and to serve as leaders in our growing arts community.
Canyon Concert Ballet strives to ensure that all aspects of our programs and services are accessible to people with disabilities. Our facilities are state-of-the-art and barrier-free. Large print programs and audio-assist devices are available at our home theater, all of which are handicapped accessible. For audience members who are hearing impaired, a sign language interpreter and/or audio devices can be made available at designated performances. Please contact CCB prior to a performance if you require additional accommodation.
